sherylg @liarwalzak There is not a hood. It's a tightly woven poly material. It is I'm sure somewhat rain proof for light rainy days with an umbrella, but I wouldn't expect to stay completely dry with heavy rain. It's definitely a stylish coat though. Perfect for an evening out, showing up to a job interview or an important meeting
