Hand painted trinket container wood vintage

Hand painted trinket container wood vintage. I shop and scour for all things unique.I go to thrift stores,consignment stores, antique stores and estate sales. This is something that I looked up and it appears to possibly be from India or Asia. It is very unique. I believe it could be a container to keep tobacco in or, other items say can hold sacred items. I don’t know exactly what it is except for it is handpainted. It’s made out of wood. The inside shows hurled wood and is not entirely smooth. It shows warriors or princes or hunters with goats and tigers on it. Disappears really old and has cracking in the paint. It’s approximately 5 inches across and about 2 1/2 inches tall with the lid that opens up. The colors are rich. I kind of love it! It is aged and worn.
