Handmade Navy Striped Paisley Sheer Dress - L

Vintage handmade navy blue striped, white polkadot, and paisley sundress. Perhaps a size medium (check measurements). Straps. Pintucks and decorative buttons down bodice front. Only the top button is functional. Full a-line skirt. Fabric is sheer between the stripes. A petticoat or half slip might be required. Back of bodice is bias cut. Unknown fiber, likely polyester or a poly blend. Travels well. Matching head scarf included. Raw edges are pinked, not overlocked; if my mom made it, it was before she got a serger in the 1980s. All the stitching I can see is zig zag, which is unusual for a non-stretch fabric. CONDITION: 1/2 inch wide waist elastic is dead, it can be pulled out and replaced. A broken thread near the center front seam (see photos). Minor pilling under arm area. White elastic shows through waistband. White interfacing shows through shoulder straps. A few places on the inside where the fabrics didn't lay perfectly together. Otherwise very good pre-owned condition. No wrinkles, no stains. Smoke-free. WASHING: I washed cold in a lingerie bag and hung dry.
