gaylee @cganz I was diagnosed at 49 when they were trying to move the age for mamos to 50, had I waited, I would have died! I worked thru treatment! Thank God three years cancer free!

cganz @gaylee WOW! Thank god it was found. I just lost a friend from cancer young left her two kids and her sweet husband who is suffering now what an amazing family and then god took her away! I was friends with her for five months then she died! I only wish I knew her better! Her daughter is friends with my daughter! I ask why? But treasure everything I have now stay positive and happy and life is good with no complaining! You are amazing❤ I wish you all the best😍

rockinrobyn I wish I could read the book! I'm 36 and have 3 babies 😇😇😇. Well, they're my babies anyway... My oldest is 13, he would not appreciate the baby comment..... My daughter is 12 and she still accepts she's my baby girl and my baby baby is 7 and he loves when his mommy calls him her baby! 👼 Do you have your book in a format I could read through email? My Mama worked in the public school system as a librarian and teacher's aid for over 10 yrs. in Ohio, where we are originally from. She remarried when I was 15 and brought me down to Texas where my step- dad (or dad is good for me... He walked me down the isle and is my babies' Papaw!) is from. I've been here 21 yrs. and was there 15... I believe I'm a true Texan now!! Anyway, I must be in a yakity yak mood this evening. briewineposh Wow! This book looks awesome! What a wonderful thing to do to ensure that they understand. Of course we were diagnosed and in remission in the same year 😝. I had my transplant in March 10'...diagnosed on Jan 7, 2010. So very glad to hear you're doing well. 👏🎀🎉🎉👍😍👯💃

briewineposh Oh myyyyy! That must've been a fun thing to tell the parents. I'm glad you told your students though. Even in 8th grade, I was hesitant about what exactly I'd say. Then, I realized that these kids, sadly, are faced with trial and tribulations at an early age. Very FEW are not touched by illness in some way. I like my students knowing that I had a horrific cancer, had the most dangerous transplant, yet here I am, looking normal as everyone else. I love shocking people lol.

gaylee @lesah_88 I was 49 and had manis since age 36. It was stage 2 by the time it was detected! That's when they were trying to have the age move to 50+. If they had, I might not be here! I'm sorry about your mom!

myspoiledwife It's so nice meeting you, virtually, on PM! You are truly an inspiration for others! I wish you the best in the future in health & happiness. I have had scares but fortunate no cancer (biopsy, etc) and hope/pray I never have to go through such but I truly pray for you as well as all the others that have gone through such an ordeal, it saddens me. 😢 I have other health problems after a MVA and have never been the same and never have been able to teach after. 😢 I was a sub-teacher but my major degree was in medical transcription which I loved (home-based). Again, great message, nice meeting you, and God bless! Prayers to you! Enjoy PM! 😇😇🌸

Jane & I are having grand mal seizures & for her, there is no cure. 💔 Thank God she has a loving family & loving friends who are supporting her thru this awful fight. She is 1 in a million! I am on permanent disability due to other medical issues as well & have an aide who comes mon-fri to help me. I have a 20 yr old daughter whose going to college in PA, but comes home once a month on Friday after class & stays till Sunday. That's a blessing because my treatments are on Fridays. I have no other family unfortunately. Just wanted to write you & tell you a little bit about myself & @mcjayne & tell you, you really are an inspiration!!! Keep rockin' girl!! 💞 ~Amy

curlysshop @gaylee this is something you must be so proud of!! Nice work.. I am thinking of buying just because I am curious.. My husband was diagnosed late stage esophageal cancer in March. We have 3 kids age 16, 14 &11.. Older girls get it but my son we haven't been as open with. He felt bad after he accidentally let me know in so many words he was embarrassed by dad's appearance at soccer. I can't and do not feel it would help him to know too much. Anyway, I'm very happy for you & will purchase one
