Intuit child in charcoal early 1900's

I found this in a farmhouse attic. the owner of the farmhouse passed away,and grandkids sold it to be cleaned out . the canvas is very fragile.made of early 1900 cotton and linen. it does have damage.there are tears in it ,a small hole,and weather damage. the artist seems to be P herring. this is charcoal. that era was called the Renaissance period in art. it doesn't have a light weight wooden frame. the canvas itself has a heavy wood hold it it with very old nails in frame This is one of a kind. I did price accordingly to art sites online, so don't send ugly messages because I do report harassment. but if you have any information on this art please educate me don't shame me. there is such thing as appropriate behavior online this is a large painting. I have it propped up to a chair to show size.
