Kingwood Ceramics East Palestine Ohio Weeping-Bright Gold Ewer Pitcher Vase 1960s
Elegant and sophisticated, this small gold pitcher is an excellent addition to your mid-century modern style. The weeping gold technique is created by melting was on the base so the gold adheres to the places where the wax is not. These are typically done in 22k or 24k gold, but I dont know which, if either, this is so I cannot guarantee the gold.
The pitcher is hand-painted, textured, made of ceramic/porcelain and has a wet look finish. Kingwood produced ceramics in the United States in the 1950s-1970s using pottery techniques. It comes with a printed backstamp.
Pristine condition. No chips or cracks. Absolutely no signs of wear on this piece that is roughy 60 years old.
