Large 8” shiny brass pineapple door knocker never used

It is cast from brass, and the front has been polished to a bright shine. Beautifully detailed, very attractive. Attached by hinge to stationary mounting plate, when mounted, lift pineapple to knock on the door. Also called a door banger. In excellent vintage condition. Holes are 4.5” apart, center to center.
