katiedidit My Mother told me about this strange person "pink"? Sounds more "flaming Red" to me. Mother had a kidney stone attack today & the ER tried to. "Make her comfortable" but all but zonked her! I am going to help them until her surgeon gets back & I need to pay you for a ring please. Love the puppy! Mom is getting a present for her 63 BD next month-a10 month old 95% Tundra wolf white female puppy called Isabella. She has had a couple of wolves before I arrived & my brothers always told me stories. May be real interesting. I am Sara-the baby in mom's pic at my 1st birthday with bubbies & grandmother. katiedidit Her surgeon is in Germany at a conference. She worked with him while in nursing school in the late 60's & did his radiographic studies special. He did the 1st kidney transplant in 1969 & she did the IVP for his patient. He took her into the OR & put a box behind his right shoulder & put her on it & explained everything to her. The OR was full of doctors & residents & interns all along the walls.everyone was asking who the girl behind Dr Derrick could be, they had her some big doctor from NY. When the pager went off & she had to leave they realized she was from right there. When they found out she was a student nurse she never lived it down. Dr D has taken care of this family's kidney problems since forever. I had an accident & EMS took me to the ER. Mom came & I had a badly bruised kidney so she said call Dr D & the nurse said he was not on call so she opened her Daytimer & gave her his home number & said call him & tell him I asked for him. He was there in 5 minutes & the nurses kept looking at mom real weird. He took great care if me & told me all kinds of stories about her school days. She was so pretty all the docs & med students tried to get into the darkroom with her but Dr D was the only man she would allow in her darkroom, he was a gentleman. I hope he gets back early cause she is hurting. The ER sent her home with enough meds to keep her flat for the weekend. Her eyes crossed but it was funny sort of. When we got home she crawled across the seat & got out the other door?? Can't figure why. Her new foam bed came today & she sort of jumped into the air & landed all 4's spread and said she always wanted to do that & laughed. Next thing we knew she was wanting pizza but just conked out. She is still out. My stepfather, John, said she would be mortified in the morning, I want to see that, she is never mortified. The parents of Bella as her name has now been shortened to, are on a Craig's list,Charleston, SC. Mom has it on the iPhone she gave John for the anniversary of their 1st date in February or maybe not but on her iPod. I will see if I can post it. John said it was a very good thing that she does not arrive until April since he knows zilch about baby wolves. I bet she sleeps with them! Good thing they got a better bed. :-) I'll tell her that her ring is winging it's way here now. It is a real cool ring, I can't wait to wear it on my 1st finger! Mom has some jewelry to die for! She just sold a custom ring made for some European royal house in the 1800s. Their crest in a high dome with a band of sapphires & then diamonds. The prince gave it to his Jewish opera singer/mistress to sell to get out of Austria before the natzi's invaded. She sold it to a lady from Charleston that Mom knew later in the 70's.Mom fell in love with it & tried to buy it for over 15 years. Right before I was born she finally bought it. She showed it to a lady she had just met & the lady wanted it as badly as my mother had so Mom sold it to her for what she paid for it!!! I have a really nice Mom. She said she never wore it so why not let Carol have it, Miss Carol is 82 years old & just had a brain tumor removed in January. Mom wanted her to have something that Miss Carol really wanted. I loved that ring too but there is so much jewelry from the Seabrook & Jenkins families that I could never wear it all. It will go to my daughter after me.!The Seabrook family owned Seabrook & Kiawah Islands before they sold it for $89,000. in the early 1970s. Now 1lot runs $250,000. each!!!! Oh we'll. let me try to post Bella's patents photo. Bella is white like her mother. You have some great pieces, I bet Mom loved most of them big time! She does have super good taste in jewelry. She sounds like my Grandmother who also had the most beautiful stories of when she was a young girl and how she would be courted, she gave me this ring it's beautiful 1900"s Art Deco sapphire diamond nothing big, but very special. I wore it while I went to visit her she lived in Italy then around 88 years old a beautiful statue of a women.... We were sitting around the kitchen table pen and paper in my hand counting and diagrams of family tree.... When all of a moment that passed she pointed to the ring whispered in my ear quietly "she dating my boyfriend gave that to me! Do you know that that man still went over to visit from time to time....
