butterflydsigns @fashionkmt I love that you have a mix of stock photos and well lit photos in your listings. Let your buyers guide you. Some don’t need a lot of info when they see something they love, but others may ask for everything: measurements, fabric content etc. As long as your customer relations are pleasant, your sales will do well. And don’t forget to share. Sharing your closet and sharing other closets will be the key to getting your items seen 💕 Wishing you lots of success! -Michele

I’ve been Sharing items more frequently as you advised and it has increased my followers and likes to my closet items! 🙌🏾 How long would you suggest sending offers to interested buyers? I read that if you send an offer you have to wait 90 days to send another offer. I just want to make sure I’m not rushing the process and that I’m negotiating sales properly. Thank you again! 💗

But if you offer 10% less they’ll get your new offer. The Offer to Liker’s feature is a tricky little animal and I’m still trying to gauge how to make it work best for me 😅

butterflydsigns I try to balance my Offers with Closet Clear Out Days (when Poshmark picks up the discount shipping.) Being that this is a busy month for me, I’m a little heavier on the private offers so the buyers have a 24 hour window as opposed to a 6 hour window to make a decision. But on less busy months I’ll stick mainly to Closet Clear Out as my means of giving a discount.

For example, today Poshmark is advertising the Make A Deal Days encouraging sellers to use Offers to Liker’s for a chance to win a prize. (Been there, done that 😒 I never win the prize 🥺) On Closet Clear Out Days when you drop your price by 10% Poshmark sends a price drop notification to your Liker’s and alerts then they have 6 hours to purchase for discount shipping.

butterflydsigns I take it a step further and notify buyers within my listing that the price drop is also temporary and price returns to normal by the end of the day. But that’s just me. I don’t want to be locked into a sale price and still have to negotiate offers after Closet Clear Out is over.
