Mid Century Manhattan Genuine Alligator Billfold Wallet Dark & Light Brown NWT

Sold as "The Practical Billfold" by Manhattan, marked Genuine Alligator inside the the wallet. Manhattan sold different versions of "The Practical Billfold" and the genuine alligator version was a premium variation of the Manhattan billfold. This billfold brand was popular in the 1950-1960's and was marketed towards fashionable men of the era. This wallet has the original inserts and outer paper wrapping. It is a standard bifold, folding in half. Inside there are card slots on both sides and a zippered section across the top to hold banknotes. Vintage wallet with original tags in overall very good condition. The alligator hide is in good condition, no cracking or loss noted. The stitching is all intact. The zipper has some signs of tarnish, see photos but is in working order.
