shooiesbaby @wenrella @cvz15 thank you for directing me here, and thank you for having a place like this! My name is Sharon and im 29, and I've had fibro for about four years now, I live in a very rural area in Connecticut with very old fashioned doctors who had no answers for me for a very long time and then this younger female doctor set up a practice and finally diagnosed my problem as Fibromyalgia. Problem was she said it was a new disease and they didn't know much about it or how to treat it. Sadly, just as we started research, she left her practice. Now I can not find any doctor in my area that even believes the disease exists, much less a treatment!! Even with studies out recognizing fibro, doctors seem to not believe that I have such a thing at such a young age, they blame a lot of my "issues" on the fact that I'm overweight. I've lost 67 pounds in the last year just to prove them wrong. To further complicate things I struggle with bi-polar, OCD, and many other mental conditions and a childhood history of torturous sexual molestation that I suffered for many years, that makes it impossible to carry a child to full term because of the damage to my insides. On the upside, I am happily married to an amazing man named Eric who loves me threw my mood swings, bad pain days, and everything in between! Sorry if I over shared too much information. But thank you again for inviting me into this amazing group of all of you! 👼

katjo @ryann_ma23 Hi. Many times when sharing to a party you don't see your listing because it's buried under 1000s of others! Every 2-5 seconds a listings is shared so the party feed moves very very fast! On average the night parties have between 125,000-200,000 shared listings! Also keep in mind that a listing can only be shared once during a party so if you or someone else shares your closet it can't be shared again in the same party. Happy Party Poshing!👍😃

In 2008, I tripped & broke both ankles, one was still in a cast when I had another fall that left me w/a badly broken hip! 5 mos later I take a nose dive type header across a brick planter........I torn my rt knee up so bad they pretty much concreted it together, in addition, when I hit I landed on my left shoulder.........crushed all those lil bones!!!! Talk about awkward...... Mercy!!!! As a result of being couped up for better than a year, I became very, VERY agoraphobic! Often times I'd get dressed, be ready, get to the door only to turn around! It was (is) frustrating! I have 3 beautiful grand angels & I missed many events because I simply could not go out! I have just in the recent past been Venturing out some! Awe now can I tell you how nervous my poor stomach was???? Yeesh!!!! Thru lotsa prayers & the Grace of God it's getting better! The Lord lead me to reconnect w/an old friend who convinced me to sell Mary Kay!!!!! Again, I knew this was God's plan for me as it allows me to gradually mainstream myself back into living!!!! I'm slowly getting there.......and I know because God has my back, I'll get there!!! Some days are ok, other days, not so much! But ima half full glass kinda girl, and I have faith!!!! It is so great to have you, & all the Posse, & especially Wendy to lean on for support!!!! I am.......thrilled, honored & blessed to be part of this awesome Posse!!!!!! Thank you all! But I have found similar cases for the Samsung S3 I've been meaning to bring in Samsung cases but like the iPhone there is so many design to choose from. 😊👍 Let me know if there is a specific design and color you like and I will see what I can do to bring some Samsung cases in. 😊🌸. I've been on disability since 09 which is why 75% is work clothes. I sold Avon for a few years and last year went thru a bout of depression and destroyed a beautiful business. But that's the past and its lead me here to poshmark to be a posher. I was meant for this business. I'm divorced I married the love of my life after a 25 year courtship and after 11 months threw the bum out. I love my 2 cats to death. Ill go hungry to make sure they have litter and food. cvz15 @soburrheidi : It happens to us all...most frequently, it's something that just doesn't fit properly, it wasn't the right look or color, or it's just not "you". Yet, you can't return it because of Poshmark's policy, which is one of the "risks" when shopping online. For me personally, if it's an item below $25, I'll donate it to a local charity or give it to a neighbor in need. If it's a pricier item, then I would just send the seller an e-mail and let them know, saying something like: "Please take no offense, but this blouse just didn't work for me. I just wanted to let you know I'm going to re-sell this item in my closet." As an example, I have a great customer who that happened to with a $100 pair of Miss Me jeans.😜 I paid for her to send the item back to me, and I then sent her another item that fit. It's really about communicating with the seller respectfully and honestly...you might be surprised how willing some of us are to make our customers super happy!! 😊 Right, Dana (@cuddlebug3964)!! 😘❤

wenrella @tiatia826 & @cvz15 I'm using my cracked IPod now. Sometimes it works. I dropped it in Tahiti, my first destination. Of all the luck. And my cell is an android. ( I know, I should have got the iPhone 5) I still haven't found a cure for our pain but I purchased some stinky rub on stuff that works on soar body parts. It smells like menthol & coconut. I've used it for 2 nights now and feel less achy in the AM. Hubby says I smell like old lady "bengay" so I'm not able to use it now cuz it makes him sick to his stomach. Besides, it's not a cure. I had a Thai Massage which helped but pain came back 2 days L8r. So I would recommend them if u could have one done every 2 days. I have till Thursday to find a cure, & it looks bleak. I recommend taking a Vacation like this to help relax & eat fresh fruit & drink lots of water.

I never had allergies in 5 years that I been on the states. Suddenly something that started just like some itching on the nose and cold like symptoms, become in the most hard time for me so far; I had been diagnosed Hay Fever now three weeks with eyes swollen, itching as if I had sand on each eye ball, and an aparience as if somebody used my face as a punching bag! I was asking to God to reveal himself trough me and help me when i feel desperate go the situation. Went to the Dr she prescribed meds for the symptoms but dud t work then I went to a Naturopathic Dr and she gave me acetal things to help my body to heal even if this I still get the itchiness my eyes can't take it anymore thought i know everything will just get better i get desperate sometimes because I cannot do my normal things and is very complicated to being sick with three children (one is breastfeed) so please Pray for me that God show his Glory through my condition and Grace and Mercy to heal me, Thanks a lot God Bless you all guys😪👼🙏💕🌈

There are many things you can do to help your allergies without medications! My daughter has severe allergies & asthma, and here are some ideas for you to try, which are all things I do for my daughter when she is suffering from allergies: ✅Try nasal saline to rinse the allergens from your sinuses. If you can find a "netty pot", that works very well for the saline. ✅Use your air conditioner or an air purifier to take allergens from the air in your home. ✅Take a shower after you have been outside to wash away the allergens & dust that land on your skin & clothing. ✅Vacuum your floors everyday! You would be surprised how much dust & pollen gets into the house. ✅Try Visine Allergy Eyes to rinse the allergens from your eyes, which will help to reduce the swelling & itchiness. ✅Rinse your face frequently with cool water, and put a cool washcloth on your eyes for 5-10 minutes when they are itchy to rinse away the pollen and to help relieve the allergy symptoms. ✅There is a gel that you put inside your nose that is a nasal allergy block. It's kind of sticky but it will catch the pollen before it enters your sinuses. I don't remember who makes it but it works very well. ✅Frequently launder your towels, pillow cases, rugs, curtains, and anything else that your face touches. This will help wash the allergens away so you don't breathe them in. ✅Avoid using Kleenex or Puffs...use a cloth handkerchief to blow your nose instead. Paper tissues have a LOT of dust in them and can make your allergies worse. ✅If you have to be outside to mow the grass or do yard work, or if it is very windy outside, wear a surgical mask over your nose & mouth. This is so you don't breathe in as many allergens & dust when you're working outside. Since you are breast feeding, you need to check with your pediatrician and your OB/GYN about these ideas: ✅Ask your doctor if you can take Flonase or Nasonex, which is a prescription nasal spray that helps with allergies. ✅Ask if you can use a topical Hydrocortisone cream for itchy skin. Please feel better soon, and I hope these ideas will offer you some relief. 😊💖

A family visit from cousins from Nashville, my "milestone" b-day 😢 (celebrated "Posh Style"), college & career planning for my 21 & 22 YO "kids", Spring Cleaning, a working "staycation" with my hubby, and the usual ongoing health issues. We recently mourned the loss of a close family friend, and am awaiting news about my cousin, who is currently in hospice. Thank you to everyone who posted birthday wishes online with extra special kudos 😘❤ to those who helped make my birthday very special. I love you all! Ladies, one of the reasons for forming this "Poshinista Posse" is to show love & support to those in need. Please lift these special ladies up in prayer, as they need us now, more than ever: 💖Aleah's (@aleahv) Mother-in-Law was tragically killed in an auto accident on Wednesday. Please pray 🙏 for Aleah and her family during this most difficult time. Someone very smart (my Grandma) once told me that if u don't hear from a person in a long time, & it is one that u would expect to check in now & then, there may be something wrong. Depression, illness, all & everyday stressors can really take a toll. It helped me to read this today, reflect on your words, & remember my Grandma's. One does not have to look very far to see someone in worse shape than ourselves. chuchala99 👭🙋hello posse sorry I haven't checked in lately. I received a message from @wenrella which reminded me that I needed to check in with everyone here. May was a terrible month for me. It was an emotional roller-coaster. I went off my meds which created a mania episode that was not pretty. I am happy to report I am back on the meds and June is looking good (as good as can be with my issues that is). @aleahv I am truly sorry for your loss. @leistessa I myself suffer from problems with my eyes-grittiness that makes you feel like you never want to blink again. I suffer from dry eye syndrome amongst alist of 92 if ailments. For me Dry eye was painful and ugly. I ended to be allergic to restasis, but with the help if eye doc and antibiotic drop, antihistamine drops, antiflamitory drops and OTC drops all the time helped. Try OTC drop keep eyes wet especially at night you might want to try night ointment I still use it. I find it helps me breathe??(think the ankle one is connected to the leg bone song). @noy2312 I am beginning to think you like my perfume. Every time I turn around your there, amazing. I guess the saying is correct great minds think alike!! @gin_uwine I had no idea you were part of this group, I might have to rethink staying....lol @cvz15 I know I have said it before and I will say again and again but you are my hero and I want to be just like you when I grow up. My fingers are actually crossed holding the veil as directed by the photographer. If you saw that, your head has bad thoughts that never crossed mind. If it bothers you, I am sorry. tenillem1201 Hi all. I could really use some prayers or good thoughts over the next couple weeks. I'm going to see some new specialists and have some tests/experimental treatments as well. I'm experiencing a lot of pain in addition to the other neurological issues I've been dealing with and struggling with day to day activities. I have been trying to take one day at a time but even one minute is overwhelming. These new drs are my "last hope" towards finding an answer. I need a miracle or two. Thanks for any positive thoughts you can send my way. I really appreciate it.

wenrella @miss_nicole222 Good morning, I want to introduce u to my PMBFF & the Poshinista Posse. You R not alone. This is a place to feel safe to talk about what's going on with any health issues or mental issues. Carol has made this available for all of us who suffer in silence to speak out, receive sound advice, and be loved & accepted. A place where other women understand what you r going through w/ out judgement. Feel free to tell your story & ask anyone Qs on what the r doing for help. I don't have the answer to what's going on w/ your disc in your back but I can offer prayer for healing if your open to it. My issues are of pain due to fibromyalgia, celiac, & sciatica. I have cranial sacrum therapy which helps the body as a whole. Look it up, just to see if its something that would help. I do know pain will make u depressed after having it for a long time. But just know you didn't deserve this from any past sin, no matter what u have done. Please don't let the enemy put that in your head! I know sometimes we say things ( or write them ) that we really don't mean, it's just a passing thought to try to explain why this is happening. Believe me I've thought the same thing. Being a born-again Christian I'm very well versed and have a relationship w/Jesus not a religion. The Bible is where I go for answers to Q's of WHY GOD WHY? But until I know your comfortable w/ me & my relationship w/ my creator I'll leave it at that. ( wouldn't want to freak u out or scare u away LOL ) PS I don't preach it, I live it. ❤✌

miss_nicole222 @wenrella thanks for understanding and not judging my venting. I am not afraid or ashamed of the gospel of JC. What I am a bit ashamed of is me not holding on tight enough to my faith and allowing the devil to break through and shake my faith. I am no stranger to christiantianity as a I was raised in the church and am a pk although my father has passed on. I know that I can take my burdens to The Lord and he will take care of me and that He only gives us no more than we can bear, but I guess right now my faith is being tested. I have been away from my immediate family since I left for the military, but we are a very close knit family, even with the distance. Smetimes i forget that i am not alone, but i always feel i have to handle things alone and i dont like to worry my family. For years i have dealt with different types of illnesses that were unexplainable and at times i was made to feel as if it were all in my head. it wasnt until my last tour in the military, to be exact only it was my last year, I had a doc who took more of an interest in my medical history and was able to diagnose my a couple of my major illnesses i found out that i had a positive and had Lupus. not that this was a good thing, but i knew then that i was not crazy and it was not all in m head. It was liberating, but the biggest problem was that a lot of people did not understand and maybe it's because I am always around type A personalities, the common consensus for most is that it is mind over matter. No one understood my depression, but luckily I had the sense of mine to get help for it even though I had friends who thought that it was a sign of weakness. Even my mother told me that I didn't need a psychiatrist and drugs, but that Jesus was all I needed. I realize that my mom is from the old old school.. Dealing with these attitudes kind of aides me in keeping things to myself and suffer in silence a lot. Enough of that for now, I welcome all prayers because I know that is the only thing that will get me through. Prayers AND medication! Lol 😱😜😊

He is bringing ppl in my life that will be a part of it. It's His war, but I am His solder. He needs more solders to do this " Big Picture". I think He gave me the "Big Picture" to have something to hold on to when I'm feeling down & having a pain day. Ask Him what Your BIG PICTURE is. I'm going to introduce you to some ladies that have lupus & some that are true prayer warriors. Sometimes it's ok to let go & let God....let us hold up your arms in this battle, like in Exodus 17:10-13 Aaron & Hur held up Moses arms and SAT him on a rock ( ie. God is our rock )

mimzy74 @cvz15 , hello, @wenrella , just friended me and told me how wonderful of a support team and fellow poshers everyone is here. I'm Rosie, I haven't been selling much ( or posting these days) I just had another corrective surgery to my spine, left sciatica and knee due to my chronic fibro. I also am suffering from a brain cyst, heart condition, acute depression, seizures, insomnia, vitamin d deficiency ,RA and the list goes on. I'm the mother of 4 handsome young men and one adorable grandson and engaged to be married this year , but am afraid that my health condition may set this behind ;(. I pray everyday for either a miracle or that GOD grant me the strength to go on just for a day. No one knows the pain of fibro because it is a silent disease. If you don't look sick, then how can you BE sick right??? I'd trade a day with ANYONE to let them live one day of mine. ;( I stopped caring about myself a couple of months ago. I'm now overweight, very depressed and always in pain. It kind of feels good to vent. I don't respond to my friends anymore because secretly I'm jealous that they all can move freely when they want and do everything they want and I can't, why bother . Chronic fatigue is the worst of my day. I don't know what day or time it is sometimes, my migraines because of my cyst in my brain are so chronic I sometimes have to wrap a bandana so tight around my head and darken the room and shut the world out that I ignore everyone I love... ( sigh) ok I've taken up too much space and time. GOD bless everyone and may you have a safe and happy week to come. 💗💕💕🌹

miss_nicole222 @wenrella @cvz15. The last 2 days have been very bad, my arm feeling as if its on fire. i have been in constant pain even with the pain meds 😢. i read the passages you quoted. My Bible has been closed too long 😔. reading the passages were very uplifting and gave me the strength to get out of bed. Thank you sooo much for the encouragement and prayers🙏. I do believe in the power of prayer and I can use all the prayers I can get. And i thank you sooo much for introducing me to the Poshinista Posse. i am very humbled to be a part of 😊 I was finally able to be examined by a neurosurgeon today and he says that my cervical spine is in need of repairing. C5-7 ACDF surgery. FINALLY!!!! I was wondering how long i would have to live like this. Surgery is scheduled for September 5. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now. My spirits have lifted a bit more knowing that my pain will soon be coming to an end 😀 thanks again for your support and rallying extra prayers my way ☺☺

jojobobolago Hi Carol! Thank you for the invite. I really appreciate it! I'm a wife, mom and Grandma JoJo to 2 beautiful little ones! I've been out of work since Feb, due to chronic pancreatitis and now chronic neuropathic pain associated with it. I found Poshmark in March and I am so grateful for it. It has helped me keep my sanity. But I have also found so many beautiful women here. And finding women here with similar stories has made it be not quite so lonely, both physically and emotionally. My world has become a life of meds and their side effects, insurance companies, paperwork, and now I'm in the process of filing for social security disability which has me completely overwhelmed today. So, taking a little time out for Poshing helps. Maybe too much information, but that's my nutshell version of about me!💜✌

I am so fragile now physically, and the least little thing has me in bed for days. I am not doing well these past five days. And my son's OCPD is just too much for me to deal with right now. When he goes off on a tangent, he is horrid. Then last night I received a very negative comment on one of my listings. The listing in my closet for my blonde mink cape I'm trying to sell. It made me want to give up Posh. These ppl don't realize how harsh they are really being, and how few emotional reserves some of us have. The financial pressure is very high...with no income, no disability, only child support and savings to live from...that a sale of something like my cape would really really help. I can't even get through a shopping trip even using one of those scooters...the pain is too overwhelming. I just feel bowled over by first this never ending pain, and second, the harshness of ppl who just could care less. So, I could really benefit from some support. I feel like a big whiner...but the truth is, I'm not strong. I'm not brave enough. I'm only able to stay positive up to a certain point, and then I feel like I cave in on myself. I'm struggling just to survive, and the rediculous doctors can't see what right in front of them. I'm sorry for being so negative right now. I feel like I'm drowning

Most days I'm able to stay pretty positive...prayer, scripture, worship music, and my gratitude journal all help tremendously as well as the opportunity to talk with friends and lend a helping hand as I'm able! There are so many WONDERFUL Poshers here...that ppl like that are not worth shedding tears over. In fact, today I received such a lovely gift! Tinker bell &her sweet hubby sent me some gorgeous peacock feathers! I've never had one! They are so lovely! And what is even lovelier, was Tink's handwritten note! I know how hard it is for her to write...so I treasured it up in my heart! Thank you so much, @tinker_bell from the bottom of my heart!! I am so blessed by the friendship of such amazingly beautiful women! All of you are just tremendous! Thank you! Thank you @cvz15 , Carol, for having me in your posse! This is such a gift! My health is failing so now that it frightens me, except for that I know God is in control. Please pray that my medical debt and all that I owe the docs and hospitals can be settled. As well, my children's father will continue to provide them with health insurance and child support (he is claiming he has been laid off), and for some doctor to somehow take up my cause and advocate for me before the spinal cord damage/nerve damage becomes permanent. I also see that you have quite a bit of her jewelry which is what I need help with.... I saw a kate spade necklace that another posher has listed, I'm totally in love with it but she isn't sure if it is authentic or not, as it was a gift. cvz15 @joellienicole : i have this set, so you came to the right place for info!! 😊 The necklace looks OK, but she used 2 "stock photos" from the internet in her listing. This makes it difficult to really see the imprints on the clasp area to 100% determine its authenticity. She has the incorrect original retail price, which would be printed on the other side of the white tag. One way to verify if itis to ask her to photograph the other side of the white KSNY tag.

If the picture is of the actual necklace that will be sent to you then my opinion is that it would be authentic. Hope this helps. maggie_pie (((Lots of love))) to everyone here! I'm looking for a bit of advice...I have purchased a few things here on posh, and most of them were great experiences. But I'm wondering, what does one do, or what should I do, when a package arrives with soiled or smoke smelling clothes...or it was listed as excellent, and it's in a pretty used state? I have never returned anything...just don't want to "be that way", you know? But I'm starting to get pretty tired of receiving dirty or poor quality items. Feels like I'm throwing my $ away kind of. Am I just being irritated for no real reason? Please give me your honest feedback. I don't feel real clear on when I should return or just...cut my losses. Thank you ladies!

cvz15 @maggie_pie : Hi, Maggie! Thanks for seeking advice from the Posse on this commonly asked question. It's happened to all of us, where we receive an item that is "Not As Described". It's happened to me where an item was smoky smelling, had deodorant stains in the pits (ewww, gross!!), or it's in far from "immaculate" condition. When you receive your order, do not hit "Accept" unless you are satisfied with the item received. If the item received is "not as described", report it to Poshmark!! Don't be shy because that is their job, and they are happy to assist when you're dissatisfied. Depending on the value if the item, Poshmark Support may do one of the following: a. Issue a return label for you to send your order back to the seller, and upon receipt, Poshmark will issue you a refund. b. Poshmark will give you a partial credit of $5-10 to keep the item (especially lower-value items deemed not worth the time or money to return), which you can then donate, discard, or use as a dust rag. c. There are rare occasions where Poshmark will agree with the seller, so just be sure to take 1-2 clear photos to submit with your "Not As Described" report, along with a clear description about the problem. Even though it's not required, I also let the seller know in a brief but kind message that there was an issue with the order, and I've contacted Poshmark for assistance. This signals to the seller not to expect their earnings to be credited immediately, especially since it can take Poshmark Support 2-5 days to respond to the request. I hope this is helpful! kenzies_kloset @cvz15 hey my fellow Jersey girl....I'm in desperate need of help and would love if u could pass it on!! At one point, a few weeks ago wenrella helped me out by purchasing an awesome Mary Frances bag. Currently, I'm in desperate need of money for medical expenses (surgery) and my husband lost his job as a HS English teacher. We hv no one to help us. As a matter of fact, I also need prayers as my Father in Law just had a huge seizure and landed in the Hospital back home in NY. We are in Vegas all alone, and we have no assistance. My rent was due on the first and I'm still $242 short of it. That's without any food in my house or any money to complete my medical expenses. I cannot go further in my surgery without paying up front. I'm not asking for any charity but I'm uploading many new things and would love if u could spread the word, Mama Eagle, and pray that sales come my way, like ASAP. I'm in a deep hole and basically stuck in between not getting the necessary medical attention I need and getting evicted. Wenrella, leelee7, and one other Posher had purchased from me, as I said, a few weeks ago. But, when giving the surgery center that money, I was then told that what I had was ONLY the Dr's fees, and NOT going towards my actual surgical procedure. I'm really worried and I'd love if u could just help in prayer and as u always do....getting the word out. I'm in so much pain, the weather is getting colder at night and I feel like I'm burning and a stabbing pain, all at once and my husband was denied unemployment (they let him go because he had to be by my side during my prior surgeries) and we are just keeping the faith and not straying from that. I thought it couldn't hurt to ask for your positivity and help spreading this. Thank you so much for being the Mama Eagle and for having this peaceful place. Ur amazing. 💖🙏💖

Try something simple like, "JLo's Island Green Glitter Tank/Camisole". It takes info right off the sales tag, and is a clear description of what you're selling. Here is my honest response, just between you & me... - You negotiated $160 with the buyer back in December, then she disappeared after you reserved the shoes for her. - The shoes didn't sell and the buyer reappears all of a sudden, still wanting to buy them for $100. - There was some back & forth about pictures of you wearing the shoes, which you posted & deleted a couple of times. - She buys the shoes for $125, but I am unclear where that price came from. - Now you have cancelled the sale the same day as the purchase (but I'm not sure why...). - The buyer is upset that the sale was cancelled. Soooo, is my "long story short" basically correct? LMK if I am on track, then Momma Eagle has a suggestion for you. 💖😊

gettumgirl Thank you Carol for answering...as I always want to do the right thing....when I first listed they were 220...then I dropped to 180 for the longest...then recently maybe a week ago I decided to refurbish and sell for the correct price 220...no as I went through the price changes the buyer was there ...and she keep haggling from the 180...at that point I decided to not sell and refurbish as I looked at them a little more....the last conversation with her and I .....became kind if annoying with the whole "take a photo of your foot thing over and over again"...but as a person wanting to offer good customer service...I complied....so I sell them for $125...she's still asking me questions after the sell...and it just gave me the opportunity to realize...I need to go with my gut and refurbish...and offer them to her at that point...I Allowed her to yell at me and did not block because I get her frustration...I'm calling on you...because I know you'll set me straight if I made a wrong decision ...
