Jacques Levine - a NY designer who began making elegant footwear in the Thirties -became known for elegant mules and slippers which were sold in upscale department stores like Neiman Marcus & in elegant boutiques across the USA.Made in Spain these gold leather & textile mules have 1.25" rubber reinforced hand-pegged gold leather heels and a shirred textile front embroidered with gold bullion. Unworn & in perfect condition. From the style & the good condition I would think their vintage is 80's-90's. Marked 8 --- Insole 10" Width 3" Heel 1.25"
