The top of this dress appears to be silk with a crushed velvet skirt. The tag lists the fabric content as a silk combo, so I'm not sure what part is actually silk. In any case it is beautiful. It snaps up the side from the skirt to the armhole. It has pockets in the skirt. My personal favorite thing! It is another dress that can take you anywhere.

mommydearest @luckymommy3 I love pockets in pretty much everything. I have just unlisted this. My daughter just walked in an is suddenly considering this for an early June family wedding. She is so hard to shop for that I'm going to hold onto it until she decides for sure. If she changes her mind I'll let you know. I'm sooooo sorry!!!💔

mommydearest @cindycomm Hi Cindy, armpit to armpit is 17". It is straight from there. The measurement at the band is 18". Shoulder to hem is 34" and top is 20" long. Hope that helps! 💐

mommydearest @cindycomm I totally agree!!! I love this dress and am a big fan of Theory. Highly underrated. I'm sorry it won't work for you. It's been sitting for a while which is a shame because it really is great...even better in person. I still wish my daughter would keep it. Thanks for the share!!! Did you see the long sleeve one? It runs a little bigger.
