msradmerchant Many hours later... Hi! A size 8 will have a snug, perfect fit with a standard sock. A size 7.5 will have a little room, enough for doubling up socks. These will in no way work if you are a size 8.5. I personally like a tiny bit of movement or slop in my boots, just in case I want to wear thick socks or two pair at once. I am a true size 8 so these are a little snug for my preference. I hope this helps-sorry for the long delay in answering!
