Released in October 2019, the Air Jordan 12 Retro 'Reverse Taxi' comes dressed in black and white, flipping the base colors on the popular 'Taxi' colorway. The AJ12 silhouette—first seen in November 1996 and worn by Michael Jordan as his Chicago Bulls pursued and claimed their fifth world championship—is inspired by the national flag of Japan and features a premium construction that helps promote a high degree of durability. This shoe features a black nubuck upper contrasted by black leather overlays on its sides and gold accents on its top two eye stays. Designed for basketball, this Air Jordan 12boasts a rubber outsole with patterns for underfoot grip. For branding purposes, it features Michael Jordan's jersey number 23, a Jumpman logo on its yellow heel tab, and another Jumpman logo on its tongue. All the logos are in red.
