Nordicware Aluminum Scandinavian Krumkake Iron

Vintage Scandinavian KrumKake Iron by Nordicware- a small waffle iron to make Scandinavian pizzelle type cookies, 5” in diameter. This one is gently used and in great shape! The base sets on the stovetop to support the ball pivot joint pan which rotates to flip for consistent cooking. There’s some debate here as to whether these Krumkakes are Swedish or Norwegian, we see them in old cookbooks from both Sweden and Norway. They are very tasty, and not difficult to make - we have one of these vintage Krumkake irons ourselves, and make these at holiday time.
