Plush moose head riding stick toy-vintage

See this cute toddler toy! It’s a plush moose head on a wooden stick, overall length approximately 37 inches including head and antlers, but the stick itself is about 25 inches. The leather harness has been taped in one area and there is a plastic ring around the neck, not sure if that was original to the toy or served a purpose. No rips holes, see photos.
