RARE -Vintage Miriam Haskell Dangling Trumpets & Leaves Fabulous Bib/Necklace

This is a rare find and hard-to-let-go necklace that will turn heads! This adorable vintage art deco, bid style necklace is one of Miriam Haskell’s early designs. Some of her early pieces were not signed. A gilt brass book chain, adorned with dangling lucite trumpet and brass leaves. The bib section measures 5” long by 2 1/8”wide. The book chain measures just under 3/8” wide. Total length measures about 16”. In excellent condition for its age (1940s). Trumpets symbolize victory, unity, announcements, or an awe-inspiring change. A leaf can represent growth, renewal and a connection to nature. It is a symbol of fertility and life, and can give the wearer a connection to nature and its forces.
