Won't be coming home. Docs say she won't last long. She has an infection and mom is DNR so no antibiotics.

My mother received her wings Saturday 1/27/24 at 5:15pm. The past week, she saved most of her words for Jesus and found peace๐ in that.

@goodtreasures Thank you. She's in the Hospital now. She's gone downhill in 2 months. Docs don't think she'll be around long. ๐ขI hate to see my very vital and independent mother as her life drains. She wants to be DNR. We respect her wishes.

@goodtreasures it's Diabetic End Stage Renal Disease. She needs antibiotics for Bladder/Kidney infection. She has refused as she is DNR.

Darling u are in my prayers, and I pray ur momma found her way to mine in heaven! I lost my momma in 2017 right before Christmas- I was her caregiver nearly full time, and it was the hardest thing I ever had to go thru- losing her but Iโm so GRATEFUL that our relationship got so strong right before the end for her!

@mizzspaztastic yes, you were lucky to have that time with her.
Mom was independent right until the end. She decided not to take antibiotics for a UTI once admitted to the hospital she was DNR. The infection worked its way through her body. 17 days.
She wanted to go since 85 so I had to support her. She was so peaceful praying until the end.

@california_gal She was very peaceful at the end. She was very happy, smiling, talking to Jesus with her eyes closed. I am happy she had peace at the end. My mom had a Fabulous Fun Life๐

@reesbrown56 that is the way I hope I can go- there is not much more I could ask for I think. My mother was 61 when she passed- it was lung cancer- she lost my dad to it when he was 56- and I know even tho she was so young she was ready in her own way- loneliness I can understand. @the end her mind went&I felt like she was my child In some moments- I have some memories that I chose to remember in a funny way to smile instead of knowing she was so lost

@reesbrown56 I never heard mom sound any less than certain- 1of the strongest faiths Iโve encountered,I try2always strive 2maintain as she did .1x Im holding her on sofa she whisperedโdo u think God will be upset w/me bc Iโm afraid-is it alright 2b afraid?โsounded so young &timid. I saidโGod knows urโค๏ธ& faith&he understands that you are only unsettled as any1would b bc u face something totally unknown 2any of us on earth.He understands momma.He heard all ur prayers& watched u serve him โ

I am just seeing this Jeanne. Iโm so sorry for your loss! What you shared about her smiling and seeing Jesusโฆmy father had (unseen by us) โvisitorsโ the last few days who gave him great comfort. @marveylust Mom passed on 1/27 so probably very close to when you lost your ๐จ dad.
I wish I had lost her when I was younger and busy with my family. 67 years I had her always there. We were 2 old ladies out with our Walkers๐ She was independent all her years as am I.
