The Japanese pop artist, Takashi Murakami wanted to give some freshness and cheerfulness to the iconic monogram pattern and that was when the Monogram Cerises Line was created. More than 15 different pigments are used to obtain the bright and shimmery colors of the cherries and their expressions of laughter and surprise. Together with Marc Jacobs, the Monogram Cerises line became a huge success! The exterior canvas is clean and beautiful, but has creasing as well as wear and rubbing throughout the edges. The leather has developed a honey patina with water spots throughout. The leather chaps at the bases of the handles have light wear and creasing. The handles show wear, scuffing, and wear to the glazing. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches and minor flaking. The interior is clean and in good condition with some pen marks, some tiny white marks, and wear.
