Sharif Vintage Gold Structured Mesh /Leather Crossbody/Shoulder Bag-Made In USA

Wow! This is such a beautiful and unique vintage crossbody/shoulder bag, most likely from the 1980's. Sharif founded his company in 1979, which he built into the largest American handbag manufacturer by the late 1980's. It is made in the USA. It is made of a hard, structured gold mesh material and /taupe/olive leather. It has a great tasseled zipper pull and a non-adjustable leather shoulder strap, that you could shorten by tying a "knot" in it. The bottom of the bag is leather. The interior is an open compartment, lined in black leather in great condition. There is also a fabric lined zippered pocket with a gold tag embossed "Sharif- Made in USA". This vintage bag is in excellent condition and holds a lot despite its small size. The approximate measurements are 8 1/2" long; 7" high; 3" across the bottom. The strap drop is 23". This bag can be used day or night- it is extremely versatile.
