St. John Vintage Hand Painted Lucite Camellia Brooch Swarovski Crystals NIB Rare

Absolutely Beautiful! New in original gift box with description. Ready to gift to the collector. Exceptional in every way, the three dimensional petals surround a large Swarovski briolette cut crystal that is encircled by smaller crystals. The petals have 2 hand-painted tiers in a cream opaque color and the third and top tier, surrounding the stamen, are a translucent clear. This designs allows the creamy color of the first 2 tiers to play off the clear petals. This is a stunning beauty and craftsmanship synonymous with St. John. At the end of the bottom right and front facing petal, the St. John signature mark can be seen and has been circled for reference in the last photo provided. This substantial piece measures 3 1/4" in diameter and weighs 46 grams and is estimated circa 1980s/1990s when the luxury knitwear company began producing jewelry.
