A very rare vintage St John by Marie Gray piece in Black/White Check Pattern, Santana Knit with brass buttons along the padded shoulders: dress with thin leather belt Designer: St. John by Marie Gray Color: Black/White Pattern: Checkered Knit type: Santana Collar Type: Round Neckline Unlined Dry Clean only 3 brass buttons on each shoulder that work, not only for aesthetic Padded shoulders Puffed short sleeves One corner fold red pocket square (can pe styled as a two-peak fold), secured with a pin One small chest pocket Thin leather belt with adjustable fit (3 holes), size 6, mark "St. John 5202", the belt pin has a cover to secure it Size: probably 6. The size and material labels were cut, but from the belt size, the dress is probably a size 6. It is probably a vintage 6, which is smaller than regular sizes.
