Pristine. Appears unworn. Harmay New York. No size label. I generally wear XL-XXL a size 14-18. Add to bundle and I will provide my measurements upon request. In photo: dress IS NOT fully zipped, NOR is pulled over my hips. I could, with assistance, maybe zip but did not want to attempt. I have wide hips; for a normally proportioned individual, this will not be an issue.
- Has a VERY SLIGHT A and is beautifully but gently body hugging.
- Lace detailing attached only at the top, which creating beautiful and elegant effect & will hide any ‘pooches’ (you won’t need those spanks).
- Fully lined. Lining is complete attached at all seams
- Loose threads around the hem. These will be simple to tack back in place. Not repairing in case you’d like to let the hem out or take up.
- Loose threads around the collar where tacked down inside. Nonissue
- no other issues with stitching found.
- Might be silk or satin? Blend? Unsure. Heavyweight material. Unsure of lining material. If it’s cotton, it’s very high quality for the time. Very soft with sheen.
- Recommend for size L, XL or XXL depending on your measurements!
Please inspect photos as these are part of the description.

‘Harmay was a 1950s dress and suit label that was known for their conservative, ladylike look.
Geoffrey Beene was an assistant designer there starting in 1950, but they fired him in 1957.’
