VTG 50s Davidow Skirt Suit Set

An absolute gem of a find. WWII era skirt suit by Davidow. The jacket has four small front pockets, pyramid-shaped metal buttons. Skirt is high-waisted A-line/pencil & has a metal zipper. Fabric feels like wool tweed. Silk-like crepe lining. "Davidow suits were always wonderfully cut and made, using integral features of the fabric rather than applied detail. By the 60s they were producing copies of Chanel-designed suits."
