This 3" artisan crafted antique / vintage English Tudor style figural brooch pin is a stunning piece of antique jewelry. Crafted from fine or sterling silver weighing 15.0 grams precious metal and stone. It features a natural opal cabochon in multicolor stone with beautiful color play and fire. The foot has curved blade edge similar to what is used to manicure nails or cuticles. In good pre owned clean condition with remnant artisan tooling marks on the bezel, along with vintage use wear, the natural precious opal stone has age cracking or spalling, has a properly functioning pin clasp closure.
