Vintage 1950's Red Dot Potato Chips One Pound Tin

Brightly colored Red Dot Potato Chip Tin from the 1950s, featuring Ta-To the Clown. This tin is empty. When filled the tin is marked that it weighed 1 Pound Net Weight. The Red Dot Company started in 1938 in Madison, Wisconsin and the clown mascot was introduced in the early 1940s. This tin has dents, dings and rust - please see pictures. Approximately 11.25 inches tall and 7 1/2 inches in diameter.
