Highly collectible 1960s Malia Honolulu sleeveless Hawaiian dress, made in Hawaii from textured woven cotton (or cotton blend) with a barkcloth-like grid pattern. Features a bold green-and-yellow floral branch print, likely inspired by plumeria blossoms, giving it that unmistakable midcentury island charm.
The bodice is tailored with darts in the front and back for a flattering fit, finished with matching fabric piping around the neckline and armholes. The A-line skirt features unique oversized front pockets hidden in pleats — both functional and striking. Comes with its original matching belt (a rare find), and closes with a long back zipper.
Interior features a sewn-in name tag reading Leigh Anne Yelton, a charming connection to its original owner.
Perfect for tiki parties, luau events, summer weddings, resort wear, retro photoshoots, or collectors of midcentury Hawaiian fashion.
