Vintage 1970s Beaded Dress Silk Couture Jacket Lace Elegant Navy White Scalloped

Incredible vintage Saz by Surjit & Adarsh Gill two-piece silk dress with a sleeveless midi-length dress in navy blue and white with thin straps and scalloped hem and neckline. Jacket with single hook and eye at top. Long sleeves. Both pieces exquisitely beaded by hand. The mannequin, especially with the weight of the beading, is not able to keep scalloped edge from falling forward on top. It would likely sit better on a person, especially if a bit of fashion tape was utilized. Late 60s/70s. Designed by two sisters from India, with the intention of bringing a “mini-sari” to the West. Condition: Gently preloved vintage - there are small faint stains visible on the white fabric and the small shoulder puff, and a small hole on the skirt and in the lining. See examples in photos.
