Vintage 1980s ARITA Japan Genesis Brown 12" Round Serving Platter, Stoneware

This vintage round serving platter from Arita is the Genesis Brown pattern. It was only produced from 1984 to 1985. The pattern features a heavy stoneware with a white center with a light and dark brown border. The backside is a matte brown and marked "Arita Genesis Brown 5243, Oven to Table to Dishwasher, Microwave Oven Proof, Made in Japan". The platter measures 12" in diameter. The condition is as shown in the photographs. Very good to excellent pre-owned condition with very little to no signs of wear. No chips, cracks or crazing.
