This vintage cobalt blue glass pitcher from the Avon Mount Vernon collection was produced by Fostoria Glass for Avon in 1976 to commemorate the American Bicentennial. The pitcher features a ribbed and diamond design with an embossed, frosted image of George Washington's Mount Vernon home in an oval on one side. While Avon marketed the item as a "sauce pitcher," it was also sold as a candle holder with a candle insert. It can be used for serving cream, gravy, or syrup.
