Vintage Brooch and Earring Set - Sterling Silver - David Andersen Hallmark

A breathtaking MCM brooch and clip earring set from the 1950's, signed by Norwegian jeweler David Andersen. Hallmark D-A 925 S Sterling Norway. Sterling silver appears gold. Leaves are white guilloche enamel (Guilloché differs from cloisonné enamel as glass mixtures lie over the engraved metal and is fused directly to it by heat.) Brooch weighs 8 grams, measures about 2.5” across and about 1.25” tall. Each earring weighs 3 grams and measures about 1” long, 0.5” across. Clips are in excellent working order - a talented jeweler may be able to convert these to posts.
