cutbysamecloth Automatic have to be wound up. The rotor inside has to rotate several times to get it going. i usually shake my watch ten times before wearing it, and after that my motion throughout the day continues to swivel the rotor.

cutbysamecloth I usually put my watches in an watch winder these days. However, if the rotor mount or screw is loose, it won't properly store energy in the coil. I've had that happen and then it won't stay running typically. likely though, your watch simply needs to be shook several times. Good luck.
