Vintage COTY Compact Mirror

Beautiful vintage 1950s Coty air-spun powder compact. This compact features an enameled lid with a vibrant, intricate design in green, gold, and red. It is a brass compact, round in shape, and would have originally contained pressed face powder and a mirror. This one does have the mirror but no powder. Coty was a well-known cosmetics brand, and these compacts are considered collectible vanity items. This compact has a gorgeous front view but shows minor vintage wear on the reverse side and inside. The pin in the back is also broken so this opens up more like a trinket dish. Still a highly collectible item to showcase. Smoke-free home.
