Vintage Chalkware Christmas Nativity Set Japan 12 Piece Hand Painted Tan READ

Beautiful survivor! Vintage Nativity set, chalkware made in Japan. I'm going to assume this set is from the 60's or 70's, similar to a set we had when I was a child, yes of the 60's. There are 12 pieces in the set. Size differs but the standing Wise Men and Joseph are approximately 5.5 inches tall, you can use that as a gage for the rest. I must point out some damage Mary has some chipping around her face/veil. Most pieces have some small chips or missing paint - they are hand painted and beautiful. All pieces are a kind of tan, yellow color and the faces and accents are painted, look at Mary's face, delicate and beautiful. The little shepherd boy was broken in half right below his garment and has been repaired. The donkey's ear has been repaired and he has chipped paint on his mane, forehead. The dark wiseman needs paint on his nose which may or may not be gone but can be touched up. If you love the old feel, leave them as-is, the set is wonderful regardless. If your crafty, you can touch them up. Sold as shown, they will be carefully packaged (I am a documented over packager) for avoid further damage.
