thrifteshop @handbagz4dayz Hello, thank you for your inquiry. The back of the tag is blank. Not all vintage Dooney & Bourke bags were made with a serial number according to our research.

handbagz4dayz @thrifteshop Actually that’s not true. Some bags did not have authenticity tags, they were made in the late 1980’s. But if there’s a tag present, there should be a number on the back. That’s how Dooney had buyers register their bags for the warranty. I’m not certain this one is authentic. The tag also looks too large and not in the right place. It’s usually under the rim. Of the tan trim.
