Vintage Gold-Plated Open Twist Lover's Knot Brooch and Earring Set Faux Pearl Ex

Great looking set from the 1970's with the brooch measuring almost 1.5" and clip on earrings at 1". The set is in excellent vintage condition and is made of a gold plate rope design twists forming an open love knot that displays quality workmanship. Each piece is adorned with small faux pearls; the brooch has 3 on each side and the earring one pearl on each side. Please notice one of the small pearls in the brooch is missing (Last picture) The Lovers Knot brooch was worn to represent the constancy of true love hence there are no ends to the brooch. These were popular in the late Victorian to Edwardian times. The coin in the pictures will give you an idea of the size of the pieces. If you have any questions, please send us a message.
