Vintage Green Baltic Amber Necklace and Earrings set​

This set is 925 sterling silver so can tarnish over time. Silver cleaning cloth included. Purchased from the Museum Company 30 years ago One earring is more Amber color then the other, that is how the set came. Set comes in original box . Box has seen better days but jewelry is in Excellent vintage condition Necklace length: 18 Inches Earrings: 22mm = almost 7/8 inch with posts Materials: 925 Silver chain, Baltic Amber Style: Art nouveau Green amber, a rare Baltic amber, was formed 40-60 million years ago in forests near the Baltic Sea. This sap of fossilized trees acquired its distinctive hue through climatic conditions that favored a green color absorption. Second to last picture say V~8 and towards the bottom you can make out the 925 stamp on back. The mark V8 may indicate the artist as Valerio from Poland
