DIN connectors are round. Could you add a picture showing a better angle of the connector? All of the joysticks from this brand I've seen so far use DB-9 connectors, like the kind you would connect to a serial port. From the angle in the picture, the connector looks a bit more like an IEEE-488 male connector. Thanks.

Thanks. Those look more like IC pins, like they would go into a chip socket. I'll try to figure out what computer would interface with a joystick like that.

I believe I figured it out. All of the other variations of this exact joystick I've seen so far use a DB-9 connector. I believe all were advertised to be for "Apple II" computers. But it looks like all Apple II-series computers had a 16-pin DIP socket on the mainboard. Only the Apple IIc and IIc+ did not have this socket available. So this joystick is intended for Apple II computers.
