This one is special. True Vintage Cape in amazing condition: “An Original by Wilma”. Handmade, circa 1960s - 1970s. FEATURING: + Expertly hand-crocheted with chunky cream-colored yarn + Great variation in pattern / texture, including openwork sections! + Five-button front closure + Generously sized arm holes / slits for comfort and versatility. + Longer (midi) length like an opera cape + Elegant A-line silhouette made for twirling + Yarn composition is not labeled, but I’m guessing a blend (perhaps acrylic-wool) as it’s more substantial than the cheaper, lightweight JC Penney type capes of the era. SIZE: One Size fits most. Length is 32” and width at the bottom is 40” (laid flat, measured across). Modeled by a size medium - clearly suitable for those either larger or smaller sized. CONDITION: Excellent. Free of stains or defects. Only the most minor, general wear expected of a vintage item. Note that the top button is slightly different from the others, as was often the style (the palest pink and luminescent vs matte ivory). Personally I prefer it open at the top and don’t use it, but I mention it in case it’s not clear in the photos.
