Has been opened and is empty. Cork on top has broken off
Vintage 1978 Michter's Whiskey bottle in the shape of King Tut in all his glory. The most of the bottle, that is ceramic, is gold. There are black, red and blue accents painted on the headdress of the King. His eyes have a great bit of liner making him so intense. The original cork is on the top lid piece.
Michter's has been making its whiskey since 1700′s. The company was started by John Shenk, a Swiss Mennonite farmer who settled his family in Pennsylvania’s Blue Mountain Valley. A farmer with rye as a crop, he decided to build a small distillery. When the Revolutionary War broke out, General George Washington purchased it use with his troops during the long, cold winter at Valley Forge. Hence, Michter’s, as the saying goes, was “the whiskey that warmed the American Revolution".
