Vintage Miss JoAnn California 3 Piece Crochet Knit Dress Blue 60’s 70’s Midi 4

Rare find vintage crochet midi dress from Miss JoAnn California in baby blue. There are three pieces—dress, belt, and crochet bib. The knit part of the long sleeved dress is light blue, with almost iridescent light blue crochet insets. It has shoulder pads (easily removable if desired), fit and flare paneled skirt, subtle balloon sleeves, and back Talon zipper. There is a braided belt with tassels. There is a fully crocheted overlay for the top of the dress, sort of like a dickie. It fastens with two thread covered buttons at the back of the neck above a keyhole cutout. No materials tag. Marked size 4 but will definitely stretch to fit a slightly larger size. Not lined; due to the crochet panels there is some sheerness. Overall condition is excellent. Missing one fabric belt loop (one still attached). The knit and crochet are in amazing shape and have retained their elasticity and softness. I don’t see any snags. On the crochet dickie, there are two tiny brownish spots. It’s likely a dry cleaner could fix these up. Estimated late 1960s or early 1970s era.
