Vintage Opal Ring in 14k Gold - Gorgeous Coloring! - October Birthstone - Size 6

This shimmery, vintage, wildly colorful opal ring was bought by me in 2016. It's my birthstone and I wore it all the time so it's time for something new & maybe now the next Scorpio can be its keeper for many years. I've owned a lot of opals through the years but none have caught the sunlight like this one. Purchased from an antique estate jewelry dealer. This is a fire opal from Australia set in 14k yellow gold, the band is intricately carved and equally gorgeous. Size 6. Crafted sometime in the 40s or 50s. Weight is 3.8g 💍✨
