Atrributed to Wildwood of W. VA - Artist John J Hart - WOOD ARTISTIC ROCKER A very aggressive dentist works his magic on his reclining patient. His hands are both holding tools, and his arms swing when rocked, as do the patient's arms and legs. Notice the heart on his left leg! About the artist: For close to twenty years, John provided for his family by working as a private investigator on Long Island. In 1977, the family moved to the beautiful and snowy mountains of West Virginia. Here, John began the family business, "Wild Wood of West Virginia," whose original moving sculptures in wood have been sold all over the country and abroad. His designs have been featured on QVC and in The Smithsonian Institute in Washington, DC. As imports caused the American craft businesses to fail John began writing, first a novel about the Jehoviah's Witnesses (not yet available), then The Mormon Woman, now published by Tate Publishing in Oklahoma and available online.
