Vintage hair comb 4 x 2 inches celluloid victorian hair comb

Vintage victorian style hair comb is an ivory graduated shade of celluloid. arched design and a medium to large size. delicate detailing affixed to comb edge. there is wear on the scrollwork detailing but it still has all its teeth. this is an old piece purchased from an antique dealer. they had it quite some time before we acquired it. so lovely, a testament to quality design and craftsmanship. (19) length = 4 inches width = 2 inches note: celluloid is sometimes referred to as French ivory. however it is a manmade plastic. the reference was used back in early days to make the material sound more expensive and exotic.
