Vintage square dancing set

80s blouse and skirt set is home sewn, made from a light-weight cotton poly plaid fabric. Color way is lilac, purple, lavender, green, yellow and white. The blouse is very Valley Girl. Has high neck, ruffles on collar and front bodice, side snap closure, generous puff 3/4 sleeves. Circle skirt has a flounced hem that twirls beautifully. Could be worn as separates. The top would be really cute under overalls and the skirt could be dressed down with a vintage concert tee. Shown here as a complete ensemble with cowboy boots and Western belt. Minor issue: visible thread work on snap buttons and hook and eye closure at skirt waist, does not detract from the full effect of the ensemble.
