Otherwise, excellent. This is a beautiful vintage hand-painted Italian ceramic bowl from the renowned pottery town of Deruta, Italy. Deruta has been a hub for ceramic production since the Middle Ages, with its majolica earthenware reaching its artistic peak in the 15th and 16th centuries. The bowl features a classic "Arabesco" pattern, characterized by its elaborate and flowing designs inspired by Islamic art and design. The central motif is a cheerfully painted bird surrounded by vibrant blue floral and leaf patterns. The rim is decorated with yellow and a cross-hatch pattern on the exterior.
