Vintage Stahlberg Volvo Jakob Jacob 1927 1/20 Scale Plastic Model Car Finland This toy car belonged to my husband when he was a kid (hes about 52 as of 2023). His family loved Volvos growing up. They owned several over the years. The car is in good condition, with normal wear you would expect for a toy this age that had been used. I couldnt believe he had the original box, though its a bit beat up (see pictures). The color of the car is blue. Volvos first car, made in 1927. The OV4 (Oppen Vagn- open car) was nicknamed Jakob because one of the ten prototypes in 1926 had been called that. My husband acquired this car in the United States, so I presume they opted to use an Americanized spelling of Jacob on the box.
