🪩☔️🪅 If only we didn’t have to adult and these were my size…. Daydreaming now about how I’d throw a disco rain party…. You might have to call the kids in sick the next time it rains🤫 (You can read or skip this part, I’m just writing: My boys are 27 & 24 year old men now and the growing up they talk about doesn’t involve non-history class or how fast they got their homework done… no, they still laugh about when mom took them fishing out on the ocean when they were supposed to be sitting through a day scrammed with classes, the perfect storm on a lake, the exploring we did because it was too beautiful to be stuck inside all week, saying yes to “just one more night” for a sleepover at their cousins because their fort was too cool to ruin… priceless. Don’t get me wrong… school serves it purpose and both of my boys worked for good grades. But mark my words, many valuable life lessons were learned in those days we played hooky than could ever be gained from another pile of stapled paper packets. 🍎Teachers- we love you, you are incredible people that the world couldn’t do without.
