vintage Johnson Fare Box Co. coin changer

This is a vintage Johnson Fare Box Co. coin changer, often used by bus drivers, trolley conductors, and train conductors to make change for passengers.  The company, Johnson Fare Box Co., was based in Chicago.  It is a multi-barrel coin changer, with each barrel holding a different denomination of coin.  The changers were often worn on a belt for easy access.
